In the past the items were generally good quality. That's not the case anymore. The items look nice in the photos, and it seems like the "markdowns" they're advertising are really great deals.
Expect about the same quality as Stitches or Ardene. Not only that, but my recent orders took two extra weeks to ship so 5 weeks , and one of my jewellery orders of about 15 different selections didn't even arrive at all. I had to make an inquiry, only to find out that my order had been cancelled without my knowledge.
And only then did they say they would refund me. BTR didn't even have the decency to give me an additional credit or incentive to continue shopping with them in the future for that blunder. Don't waste your time with these guys. Shop elsewhere. I received my order a day after the latest ship date. The 2 dex dresses are well made and a perfect fit.
Love them. It's good service, any time if u are not satisfied u can return the items, towards the BTR credit. Shipping is a little bit slow, other than that everything else is perfect. I ordered gold earrings from them expecting them in about 3 weeks.
When they had not arrived after 2 months I called as I had read that they had filed for bankruptcy protection. I asked for a refund to my PayPal account and received it within a few days. I have to admit I was a bit scared of receiving my purchases after reading all the reviews on here. I hadn't really done my home work and placed two orders. The first shipment was received within 12 days of my order.
The second one, surprisingly, was placed last Thursday and I received my package today I got exactly what I expected. They weren't high end. But I now have 6 pairs of shoes and 4 pairs of boots So, while I can't speak to anyone else's experiences, I thought I would at least put on a decent comment on here to say that Beyond the Rack lived up to their promise..
I am happy to report that after several months - and posting a complaint online - I received notice that they applied my refund. Let's hope they are returning to being a good place with which to do business.
Purchased on March 16th. Wrote on April 4th. They answered the 7th saying that my purchase is on its way. I understand because pandemic No news, so I wrote again They gave me same answer in the 21 of April. Since then: no news. I even wrote on their FB page. Watch out for the false "retail" prices that they advertize. Wow, looks like an amazing deal The exact same shirts. Total scam. I don't want anything to do with them. I order 3 pairs of sunglasses from them in early March.
My credit card was immediately charged even though I didn't receive anything until more than a month later. Most stores I order from don't charge until your item ships. I got 2 pairs sent but now it is June 23 and I still haven't received the third pair.
I have contacted customer support and receive a generic answer, no concern for my concerns, and no worries about keeping me as a customer. They are selling products that aren't even available. How long am I supposed to wait? It's now summer and I ordered the glasses in winter. I'm furious with their service and don't recommend anyone using their website. Sad that BTR is having financial problems right now. I loved shopping on the site, but now I am afraid to shop because I'm afraid they will go bankrupt.
Will wait and see. I can't say that I have had problems with them. You have to be very patient when shopping on this site and I don't mind waiting. They have always shipped my goods and gave me refunds when necessary. I am very happy with almost all of my purchases and have all kinds of beautiful items that I love thanks to them. I don't understand the reviews that say they are difficult to contact, I have contacted them very often with no problems at all and they always let me know what's going on if there is a delay etc.
Anyhow, they have done a great job and I hope that they stay open so I can continue shopping. I ordered many times from this website over the years and I never had any issues whatsoever. We only authorize our suppliers to send us their merchandise once the event closes, at which point we know exactly what to order for our membership as a whole. I purchased a Celine trapeze for my sister and the first one I received was damaged - a button snap on the side fell right off. They were a little difficult about the return and wouldn't even let me just "exchange. Well, I should have known after the quality of the first because the second just felt like PVC and had a few tells that it wasn't authentic.
I paid a reputable authentication and they confirmed it was a fake. I phoned and chatted with their customer service assistants several times. They were nice and friendly but not so helpful for the info that I needed. However I was very satisfied with my purchase and I will order from them again for sure. Their price can't be beat! They said no problem to return. No refund was given. I paid shipping to return the dress and they said the money would be only a few days.
They did confirm they had received the dress. After weeks, then months. No refund and they kept the dress too. I was a long time customer of Beyond the Rack until they changed hands.
They used to sell quality merchandise at a reasonable price, I ordered quite frequently and was never disappointed. However, it is apparent that they now sell crappy fast fashion knock off garbage. I gave them a shot when the new owners took over, and have completely wasted my money. They are more expensive and the merchandise quality and return policy is dismal. Used to recommend them,but now I tell folks to stay away.
Will never ever buy from BTR again. This company scam people money. Be aware. As one of the lucky ones, I got a full refund. Looks like that doesn't happen too often, if at all. No one can figure out what's going on, excuses like computer changing over from old system, problems with suppliers from the bankruptcy issues that no one wants to be their suppliers?
Multiple phone calls over 6 weeks and the order was cancelled and money was refunded without explanation. I learned they went into bankruptcy and deleted all customer credits and I know I had a credit from years ago on the account that they told me I had then later denied. Can't trust them. If there was a "0" star rating, they would have to work hard to earn it.
They lie!!!!! Still waiting for a refund from May!!!!!! Multiple calls and emails to customer service promising a callback from a supervisor never get it I had to call them finally to realize the product was not in stock and never would be they've had my money for over two months.
Will never buy again from them. They are always veeeery late shipping the items on your orders. Most orders will not even be fulfilled as they are out of stock even if at the time you order they say the items are in stock. Refunds are taking forever and come with weird amounts no one can really explain. Communication is lacking accuracy and their IT system overall is disastrous.
