Who is lunch in dragon ball z

We will let you know here in this section. Launch is a female anime character in the famous Dragon Ball Z series. With a distinctive disorder, Launch has two personalities. A charming and innocent one with blue hair, and a short-tempered and irascible one having blonde hair with a gun-totting crime record. She shifts into two characters whenever she sneezes.

Launch usually has a red ribbon in her hair. The outfit of the character often changes, however. The charming looking persona of the character is portrayed as a pure-hearted and lively-looking character flying Nimbus with Goku. The other side of the character has a deadly secrete. The character is revealed as a vicious, violent, and hardened heavily armed criminal which pops up almost instantly without warning.

Although Launch was not the main character of the series, Launch played a perfect ever-present supporting role for most of the series of Dragon Ball. She was a sight of comic relief with her unpredictable personality. Saiyan are innately assertive combatants who thought that they were the strongest combatants in the world. Saiyan played a central character in Dragon Ball Z.

The question is, is Launch a Saiyan? Well, the general theory is that Launch is just a woman with strange personalities in which she continuously shifts from being innocent, peaceable blue haired with blue eyes to a violent ragged blonde-haired character with green eyes. The problem with this theory is this strange personality.

This personality of her is quite like the Super Saiyan transformation. Though I am not saying that she is a pure Saiyan as Saiyan typically have black hair and eyes apparently , but a hybrid as said by Vegeta, with Saiyan blood in her to a degree. That is the reason why her hair does not spike.

A non-pure blood super Saiyan female has never been seen before in the series. Akira Toriyama, the creator of the series, says that Super Saiyan female character might look different. Maybe, this is what he was pointing at. But the idea seems to stay in the head of creator since launch and it feels that Super Saiyan are not original.

The creator of the series, Akira Toriyama pointed out the reason why transformation changed the hair color of the character from blue to blonde is because he wanted to make things easier for his associate. Strangely, however, Launch is never seen again other than in flashbacks. The audience might assume that she simply moved on from the Z gang after Tien's death , but it's still unusual for a long-running character to be written out of Dragon Ball without a clear explanation.

Toriyama goes on to say that by the time Launch factored back into his thinking, the Super Saiyan transformation had been introduced, and the blond-haired power-up was too similar to Launch's gimmick to reintroduce her. Fortunately, Toriyama didn't completely abandon Launch. Set two years after Buu's defeat, Launch also appears in the Yo!

Son Goku and his Friends Return special as if she'd never been away. While this short film is considered part of Dragon Ball canon, however, Launch's return is short-lived, as she is absent once again in Dragon Ball Super and the modern series of movie releases. While not significant enough to be considered a plot hole, Launch is a curious and amusing inconsistency within the world of Dragon Ball , and her appearances are as unpredictable as her personality.

Lunch is happy, naive, and aloof enough to carry out her work for Master Roshi , never realizing that he is constantly trying to grab, poke, rub, or catch a glimpse of her breasts, butt, panties, or bra. However, many of his schemes are foiled, if not by his own mistakes. When Lunch's nose gets tickled and she sneezes, it causes her to change into her violent half. Lunch has a very sensitive nose, that, when irritated by even the smallest things, can result in a sneeze.

Her sneezes are often provoked by things such as pollen, pepper, dust, and other common irritants. In her bad form, Lunch has blonde hair and thin, green eyes almost resembling a Super Saiyan. Goku, Master Roshi, and Krillin are all deeply afraid of her bad side after she shoots them all with a machine gun. Afterward, all of them run behind a boulder several meters away in fear, after being victims of her first assault, when it seemed like she would sneeze, and carefully observing her during dinner, ready to run away at the first sign of a sneeze.

Somehow, she always appears to have a machine gun on her. Her personality in her bad form is tough, arrogant, serious, sarcastic, and assertive. Her transformations come in handy during the 22nd and 23rd World Martial Arts Tournaments, when she would clear the crowd and allow her friends to get up in front.

Additionally, in the later episodes of the series, she seems to be more in control of her blonde form, whereas her earlier transformations in the series turn her into a berserk maniac with no control and no memory of any of the gang. In fact, later on in the story, she begins to control her blonde form completely and this is confirmed when she is shown to care greatly for Goku and the others, and even cries after Krillin's death, though she is still more aggressive than her other half.

Lunch's bad self makes a cameo in The Punchline part 1 drinking in a bar, muttering voiced by Whiteash. Team Four Star Wiki Explore. Team Four Star. Cast and Crew. Episode List Characters. Episode List.
