Given some love in the underrated animated series , Atrocitus is one of the few survivors of a Manhunter attack. Enraged, Atrocitus gives birth to the Red Lantern Corps and wields his rage like a weapon, leveling against any foe to cross his path to oftentimes deadly and disastrous results.
It wouldn't be a Green Lantern-based list without Sinestro getting a mention. A former member of the Green Lantern Corps, Sinestro is an intelligent and brutal ring bearer, oftentimes using his advanced intellect to lead his actions. Fed up with the hypocrisy of the Guardians, Sinestro turns on his masters and dons a yellow ring, a ring powered by fear.
Armed with that, Sinestro forms the Sinestro Corps, cultivating some of the galaxy's most deadly and vile beings to herald fear to all, despite some moments of heroism. Now, some fans may have expected to see the name Parallax ranked higher.
After all, he's the embodiment of fear, appearing as the lead antagonist in one of the worst DC movies. He serves as the cause for Hal Jordan becoming an enemy of the Corps, granted Sinestro immense power and even possessing a Guardian.
However, it could be said Parallax is less of a cosmic entity and more of a demon. Although he is incredibly powerful, Parallax largely relies on other people to use as meat puppets.
Influencing Hal Jordan to go insane after Mongul destroyed Coast City and giving Sinestro an edge, the fear demon is legendary. Truthfully, a lot of the names here may elicit some raised eyebrows and Krona is probably going to be one.
After all, how many people actually know who Krona is? Not every DC fans know about the scientist who went rogue and proceeded to become an extremely powerful and cosmic-level entity. After the Anti-Monitor was born, the resulting wave of cosmic power turned Krona into a being of pure energy.
Becoming the embodiment of Entropy, Krona went on a cosmic rampage, destroying countless universes before being stopped. Although the movie never got a sequel for obvious reasons, it would've been cool to see someone like Nekron make an appearance.
After rebelling, and being nearly destroyed by the Guardians, the Manhunters have returned time and again, trying to destroy both the Green Lanterns, and all sentient life in the Universe. He has returned multiple times, always with the expressed purpose of making Hal — or the Green Lantern Corps — better than it is, by adding his own ideas into the mix.
You know, killing, terror, and whatnot. One of the main villains who fought the original Green Lantern, Alan Scott, Sportsmaster was a master of sports.

Atrocitus The leader of the Red Lanterns, and a seer who predicted the recent Blackest Night event, Atrocitus is able to spit acidic blood onto his enemies, besides looking gross and having super sharp teeth.
Lyssa Drak We could spend all day listing horrific members of the Sinestro Corps, the antithesis of the Green Lantern Corps, who thrive on the yellow light of fear. They were originally servants of the Anti-Monitor, and now serve Sinestro by creating yellow power rings for his corps, but are more than capable of launching deadly attacks of their own initiative, as Hal Jordan has learned time and again.
Ferris was possessed by an extraterrestrial gem sent by the alien Zamarons, a female warrior offshoot species of the Guardians of the Universe. Jordan freed her from their influence, and since then, other females from around the galaxy have been chosen as Star Sapphires, going on to alternately bedevil and bewitch Jordan.
Among their most fearsome plots involved disguising themselves as human and replacing key people in the lives of the heroes of Earth, in an effort to disrupt the plans of their former masters, the Guardians. Although that scheme was thwarted, their continually evolving capabilities and relentless dedication to their programming mean the Manhunters continue to pose a serious threat across the universe.
Atrocitus carries on their mission of vengeance along with his corps to this day; the rage of a Red Lantern is so fierce that when one dons the ring, the blood of the host body is wholly replaced by the burning energy which grants them their power.
Responsible for the destruction of Coast City, which nearly drove Hal Jordan irretrievably into the arms of darkness, the Cyborg is a remorseless killer, with a twisted mission that combines his hatred of those he blames for his condition, with a desire to dominate the world.
He reconstructed the dreaded Manhunters after they were thought destroyed, and was recently recruited by the Sinestro Corps, augmenting his already formidable powers by donning not one, but ten of their fear-powered yellow rings. The mastermind behind the events of the Blackest Night , Nekron is the very embodiment of death, representing the absolute darkness that existed before life came into the universe. Nekron sought a return to that darkness, and naturally decided that the way to accomplish this was to extinguish all life.
